Fumi Desalu-Vold was the winner of the first ever Super Model competition for West Africa in 1991 and went on to have a successful career as a model for several major fashion houses in Paris, Milan, London & New York. Upon her relocation from London to New York, she was accepted at the famed Actors Studio where none other than James Lipton declared that she was going to be a star. Fumi found fame in Hollywood where she had substantial parts in the popular and number one television show at that time, Ugly Betty. She was also featured in films alongside Eddie Murphy (Norbit), Hugh Grant (American Dreamz), to name a few. She also has a successful acting career in Norway, starring in national television soaps and feature films including Hotel CEASAR & VARG VEUM where she was the only actor in the film to speak three languages: English, Afrikaans, and Norwegian. She starred in a national commercial with her husband for Lindeman's Wine which was launched globally in 100 countries, as well as a sitting judge at Africa's Next Top Model, to name a few. She was featured in the American edition of People magazine as a timeless beauty.

With over 30 years of career in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment industry, Fumi has established herself as a social media game changer and powerhouse, with combined viewership reaching millions. Her YouTube channel has caught the eyes of the American television network, E! Entertainment, for her own Fashion Police Red Carpet Review she does every season at the advice of none other than the late Joan Rivers. Last year, she was invited by the network to their exclusive Golden Globes watch-along party alongside other celebrity elites in London.

Fumi is working towards having her own daytime talk show and continues to work in the world of entertainment and fashion. She has also created a platform to encourage and support women and girls of all ages called Sister-2-Sister, where some of her episodes have been played in the auditoriums for students at Harvard University. With a degree in Business, Fumi and her husband have their own company and are looking forward to launching her own clothing collection, cosmetic line, and skincare. Her shapewear brand that will be coming at the end of summer with the first EVER COMPLETE BACKLESS BRA that went viral with over 2 MILLION views on YouTube. She has also been offered to write a style book from the prestigious publishing house, Harper Collins.
